About AAGECA

History
Government College of Engineering was established in 1960 and has grown into one of Maharashtra's respected institutions for engineering education. As its alumni community expanded, the need was felt for an organised body to maintain a lasting relationship between former students and the college. The process of formally establishing the Alumni Association began in 2002, and the first Executive Committee met on 25 November 2002 to form the Association under its Memorandum, Rules and Regulations. AAGECA was registered on 31 January 2003 as the Alumni Association of Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad, under Society Registration No. MAH/126/2003. Since then, AAGECA has been guided by successive Presidents, Secretaries, Executive Committee members, Patrons, faculty members and committed alumni volunteers.
